Savannah Metzger
Savannah was the 2025 scholarship recipient from Felicity-Franklin High School.
Savannah wishes to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher. She has been accepted to her university of choice—Northern Kentucky University, where she will work toward a Bachelors degree in early childhood education. She eventually wishes to create a “nurturing environment where all students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to succeed.”
2024 Scholarship Recipients
Ayla Rutherford
Ayla was one of three scholarship recipients from Felicity Franklin High School. Ayla wishes to pursue a career in Speech Pathology. She has been accepted to UC Clermont, where she will work toward an associates degree in Pre-speech hearing language sciences. She eventually wishes to obtain a masters degree to become a speech pathologist.
Emma Brandenburg
Emma was one of three scholarship recipients from Felicity Franklin High School. Emma will be attending Morehead State University, where she will work to obtain a degree in Animal Science and a license in Artificial Insemination and Reproduction Health. Her future career goals include working at Reproduction Specialty Group in Indiana. This job includes studying embryos in large animals and artificially nseminate those embryos into animals. She wishes to work alongside embryologists and become a registered technician.
Joanna Hamilton
Joanna was one of three scholarship recipients from Felicity Franklin High School. Joanna is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree to become a registered nurse. Her long-term professional goals are to serve the underserved and build a professional career in nursing to enrich the community through her work. She wishes to approach every patient and family with the dignity that they deserve. Her long-range education plan and career path is to further her nursing career by attaining a Master's degree and becoming a nurse practitioner.
Ryan Crompton and Clara Morlock
Ryan and Clara were our 2024 scholarship recipients chosen from Milford High School.
Ryan has overcome incredible obstacles in his education journey. He is attending Ohio University this year and wishes to pursue education so that he can inspire young people like his teachers have done for him.
Clara has been a volunteer at the at Thomas A. Wildey School, which services children with severe developmental disabilites. This experience has been both rewarding and inspiring for her. She plans to major in early childhood education.
